Your AWS S3 connection details are the same for every dataset youâll be publishing â so youâll only need to setup a single Cyberduck connection for all of your datasets. Login to SFTP To Goâs dashboard and go to the credentials page: Expand the root credentials to copy the S3 endpoint and secrets. Unfortunately, you will need to do this each time because Cyberduck is not capable of prompting for the MFA token. This will then return a new set of temporary IAM credentials that Cyberduck can use. Next, paste the Access Key provided by your Consultant or Customer Care. Keep your custom S3 bucket details handy to upload your CSV/TSV files into your custom S3 bucket. You will need to use the Security Token Service (STS) command to get-session-token while providing an MFA code. To configure the server, select the Amazon S3 option from the dropdown list. ![]() There's no case where you'd want an encoded forward. ![]() “We have seen speed increases of over 3x faster running on the new MacBook Air. It also enables many more elements like adjustment layers and live filters to be maintained before performance suffers - allowing for a more non-destructive workflow, even on the most complex of documents. Mac customers with M1 can expect a more responsive user experience with respect to painting, pixel editing, filter effects, document rendering and more. “In fact, ever since developing for iPad, we’d always hoped that chips with this architecture would eventually come to Mac, so we’re very excited that day is finally here.”Īffinity apps are the first professional creative applications to offer native M1 support “Our fully-featured iPad apps already take advantage of very similar architecture on the A-series chips, so it actually only took us a day to port our Mac version to run natively on M1,” adds Hewson. ![]() It didn’t take long to get Affinity apps running natively on the new hardware. Serif was one of the developers to receive the DTK from Apple, to be able to develop for M1 before launch. When you have unified memory it allows much faster handling of these complex documents.” Edits to pixel layers are best handled on the GPU, while vector and text on the CPU. “The advantages are particularly noticeable when working on documents with thousands of pixel layers, vector objects and text. “The architecture of the chip, particularly having such a high-performance GPU with unified memory with the CPU, is perfect for professional creative applications. ![]() Affinity creative apps are ready to go on Apple’s new macOS Big Sur-and primed to deliver superfast performance on Macs with M1 chips.Īvailable now, the Affinity 1.8.6 update for macOS is ready to tap straight into the potential of Apple’s next generation of Macs, allowing users of Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher to do more, faster.Īffinity Designer running on macOS Big SurĪshley Hewson, Managing Director of Affinity developer Serif, says: “We’re proud that our Affinity apps are leading the way once again, this time in offering full native support for Apple’s new M1 chip. ![]() Docker caching is then utilized to cache the Docker layers, improving build speed by reusing cached layers when possible. In the build job, the code is checked out, built, and tested using the specified build and test commands. The code is divided into two jobs: build and deploy. This example assumes you are using either GitHub Actions or CircleCI for your CI/CD pipeline. Allowing Qovery to deploy containers built via your CI gets your deployment to the next efficiency and speed level. These CI platforms offer additional features and optimizations to streamline your development and deployment workflow. Utilize faster CI servicesīy leveraging Docker caching and modern CI tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI, you can significantly reduce build time for containerized applications. Remember to replace, , and with the appropriate values for your specific project. Any additional dependencies or configurations can be set up in this stage.įinally, the command to run your application is defined using the CMD directive. This eliminates the need to rebuild the code, as the intermediate image contains the compiled code. The already built code is copied from the builder stage into the new image's /app directory. ![]() In the second stage, a new base image is used. The result is stored in the /app directory within the builder stage. The first stage, builder, is responsible for building your code using the specified build commands. In this example, the code is divided into two stages. # Define the command to run your application # Set up any additional dependencies or configurations ![]() # Copy the already built code from the builder stage # Stage 2 : Create the intermediate image While it may not be the most convenient approach, it gets the job done efficiently. Even if it's not 100% up to date, using this intermediate image can save you time by avoiding recompiling already built libraries and dependencies. This version should contain an already built version of your code. Create an intermediate imageĬonsider creating an intermediate image that you can store somewhere. Fortunately, there are some tips you can follow to improve the buildtime of your Dockerfiles. It's important to keep an eye on the build time to ensure efficient development and deployment processes. The duration of a Docker build can vary depending on various factors, such as the complexity of your application, the size of the image, and the resources available on your machine. If you're curious about why using Docker over other options like buildpacks, you can check out this article here for more information. With a Dockerfile, you can define all the dependencies, configurations, and steps needed to set up your application within a Docker container.īecause Qovery got you covered, we even wrote a guide on How to write a Dockerfile in case it’s your first time. Qovery relies on Docker to build and run your application in a consistent and isolated environment. If you’re deploying to the cloud or planning to, using Qovery or not, having a Dockerfile becomes (almost) essential. ![]() It's like a recipe that tells Docker what to do step-by-step to create the artifact you need for your application. A Dockerfile is a text file that contains instructions on how to build a container image. Before we dive into the tips, let's quickly recap what a Dockerfile is. Warsword Conquest has been around for a while, and while it's still in beta, this Warhammer fantasy total conversion mod features factions like the Scaven, dwarves, orcs, elves, Lizardmen and more. If you're ready to slaughter and pillage your way to the Iron Throne, this is the mod for you. It was officially released in April this year and is still being updated - you can check out June's patch notes here - and it lets you pick character names based on either the books or the TV series, which is a nice touch. We reviewed AWoIaF a few years ago, comparing it to another popular Game of Thrones mod, A Clash of Kings. If you're yearning for some Game of Thrones action while waiting for the next book or the new series, A World of Ice and Fire is going to be right up your street. ![]() A Song of Ice and Fire is music to our ears Let us know if your favourites made the list, and if you have any suggestions of your own. In anticipation of the sequel hopefully hitting its potential 2017 release date, we've rounded up some of the best mods for you to try in Warband as the game is super cheap right now, and it's a good a time as any to dip your toes into the water. Mount & Blade: Warband's best mods and where to get them There's a tonne of mods for Mount & Blade: Warband, from total conversion to simpler fare that makes the game prettier, and that's what we're here for today. ![]() The sequel, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlords, still doesn't have a confirmed release date but we do know that developer TaleWorlds will share its tools to keep the modding community alive. Mount & Blade: Warband is the standalone expansion for Mount & Blade that released on Steam back in 2010 and made its console debut at the end of last year, and a huge modding community has built up around it. ![]() For me I like both I will play mount and blade if I want some fun alone doing stupid things within a sandbox game and mods, but I will play chivalry if I want real fun with others online.Waiting for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlords? Stop twiddling your thumbs and give some of these Warband mods a whirl. If you like aiming all the time and single player with great mods then mount and blade is your game, if you like a multiplayer game which you don't need to care about getting the right attack because everything has it's own keybinding and just want to have fun with other people chopping off heads and limbs then chivalry is your game. Chivalry is a multiplayer game which is focused on multiplayer and team work but it doesn't really have single player only bots.Ībout combat it depends on what you like mount and blade uses like I say an old system with a lot of just clicking and moving your mouse in the direction you want to attack and hoping it does the right attack chivalry has bound attacks to different keys. You need to aim your block else others can still drag around it with stab etc, you can't compare mount and blade with chivalry there are 2 different games that does 2 different things, mount and blade is heavy focused on singleplayer and only mods keep it alive, but for multiplayer it's just basicly almost nothing. Simply becuase these players hadn't learned them. That's when all these complaints increased massively. Rather than spending 10 hours on the low rank servers, learning how to play wrong then getting thrust into the normal game with the wrong expectations. Simply becuase the new players back then saw these tactics day one and learnt them. Before rank limits were added there were far less complaints against valid tactics. They get you into bad habits that are hard to break out of and will ruin your game experiance. Some slow learners refuse to learn at all. There are two kinds of players in this game. ![]() There are far more tactics to use and everyone can fill their own playstyle. The fluidity and flexibility far outshines anything mount and blade has to offer. When you play chivalry you will see the emptiness in MnB's combat. However they are very much prevalent on the steam forums and constantly listen to the players. The devs aren't listning to the steam playerbase. |
